Podcast 1

Well, me and my friend Audrey decided that it would be an awesome idea to start a random as shit podcast describing everything from how much certain people are just fuck ups to how art school really works. Hope you like it.

okay, my first oil painting...thats worked......

So i havnt had internet for the past couple of days and in turn ended up producing like crazy. Here is like a tenth of everything ive done without internet. Have fun.

Okay, so this is a work in progress, but so far i am liking the way everything is coming out. Just getting some of the basic ideas in and will come back to it soon. have some new pics up of it when there is something more to show.

Okay, i fucking love this guy. He is just my friend (and no one else). I got the inspiration for this while looking at a used napkin and decided to paint what i saw. I fucking love dogs....

some blood work

Okay, so this is some of the grosser stuff i do, but in the same way, i really like to put it in my notebook. I call it my blood work because its done in my own blood...i know, dont judge. but here is a couple photos to show you how i do it. and if you dont like blood...dont read this. 

okay, so i always start out with something bleeding, not on purpose, but always something happens where i end up bleeding, so might as well do something with all of it. so i decided to start smeering it in my sketchbook and letting it all dry and draw over it. gives some nice random shapes to work from and have some fun with it. no matter how gross it is. 

so this was the page after i decided that was enough blood for one page and that i needed to wash it out of my hair. 

i had about a 4 inch square of hair that was soaked in blood.

I know its been a while since ive posted anything, but i assure you, ive been busy. not only have i moved back to LA but ive also been working on my art like crazy, currently i have about 6-10 paintings in the process and just been drawing like i always do, so i hope you enjoy what you see.

Okay, so this isnt mine, but i wish it was. just thought you might like it.

So i decided to work a little differently this time. I was looking at a little more monster lowbrow work and decided to work in a really wide tip pen and just went crazy and made the most angry dog ive done in a while. i like the way it came out even though anyone could have done it. It doesnt have a name yet, so put out some fun ones.

Okay, so like 2 days ago i scratched my head and got a cut and decided to use the blood smears to get some random shapes to draw with. had a lot of fun with it and got some cool stuff done. the next couple of photos are what i came up with.

Okay, those are the grosses/most awesome sun glasses ever.

2nd most angry dog ive done in a while.

okay, for these two, both of these drawings are about the size of my pinky nail. the pen tip is almost half of the drawings. 

I love this frog man, just was a lot if fun to draw.

nothing wrong with a little body....look closely and see if you can find her piercings. 

I love this guy. He is a drawing that i did because the positive and negative shapes of a palm tree gave me this little angry dude, so i decided to give him a place in my sketchbook and let him be annoyed by anyone who looked in my notebook.

Okay, so this was done almost a year ago, but I was doing some digging around and found it and have started to head back in that direction with painted lost/forgotten items, so I decided to put it up.

And here is an old beer cap that someone lost years ago. Looks better now.

been a while

Recently I've had this over whelming urge to draw like a bat out of hell. Ive done like close to twenty pages of drawings in like four days, but not just one drawing a page, more like 17 or 40 a page. so, i also decided that i needed some new shit up and that everything I've been doing can actually go somewhere at this point. here is some new shit, some old shit and every thing in between. have fun.

So this is my guitar that I ended up painting for one of the last projects of the school year. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to play it. I've always wanted to know. the first time my dad ending up seeing it, he thought it was a "giant green vagina". either way, really happy with the way it came out.

Okay, so this is a sketch that has inspired a couple of pieces that are for sale at the Metropolitan Salon in downtown Bakersfield. there are about 5 for sale now so check them out. you can find the salon on facebook by the way. good people there.

Done in steak blood. know it seems a little creepy, but I really like what came of it.
